I’m Mary Jane Mateer, an experienced educational therapist who fosters self-confident, independent learners in reading, mathematics, and writing. I have had my private practice for over 6 years.
I am a graduate of the University of Colorado with a BA in Psychology and earned an Education Specialist Level 2 Credential from the Dominican University of California.
Through my years of professional experience as an education specialist for students with learning differences and/or challenges in both public and private schools, I exhibit the special skills it takes in addressing a child's spectrum of individual needs using interventions and strategies that diversify lessons for each individual learning style while cultivating a positive learning environment.
This is complemented by developing and maintaining a strong working relationship with parents and teachers.
